When you look at these pictures, you’ll notice a difference from the pictures taken in earlier years: They show a lot more PG’s, and a lot less delegates. The reason is obvious: I was a PG at this GTG, and it is a completely different life you get to live as a PG: Different rhythm of sleep (OK, so I lied - you do get some sleep, occasionally...), be at a certain work station instead of being part of all the programme, and, well, stay with PG’s and the OC a bit more than stay with the delegates. Which is a bit sad on the one hand, but nice on the other: The PG’s are really no bad guys after all. They certainly aren’t boring or anything; if they appear slightly strained occasionally it is merely because that’s just what they are. Anyone who has ever organized an event for a couple of hundred people will know why. It’s amazing how many things can go wrong, and can still be fixed. Cool. I’ll be there again next year, for sure.
